Person Of Interest Sought in Multiple Hattiesburg Commercial Burglaries
Hattiesburg police are searching for a person of interest in a string of commercial burglaries on the city’s Industrial Drive. Detectives have identified 27-year-old Eddie McCormick of Laurel and want to speak with him about three break-ins that occurred on Dec. 14, 2025, Jan. 18, 2026 and Feb. 15, 2026 in the 100 block of Industrial Drive. Police are asking the public to provide any information on McCormick’s whereabouts so investigators can advance the inquiries.

The police department has named Eddie McCormick, age 27 and listed as from Laurel, as the individual they seek in connection with multiple commercial burglaries. The incidents under investigation were commercial burglaries at addresses in the 100 block of Industrial Drive and occurred on three dates: Dec. 14, 2025; Jan. 18, 2026; and Feb. 15, 2026.
