The premise centers on Hobie Buchannon, now a Baywatch captain, who finds his life changed when his estranged daughter Charlie appears. This storyline promises to explore themes of family and legacy within the context of lifeguarding.
In February, Fox held an extensive casting call, inviting around 2,000 actors to audition for roles ranging from extras to main cast members.
