Shooter Charged with Attempted Murder at Rihanna’s Home
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has charged Ivana Lisette Ortiz with attempted murder following a shooting incident at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills residence. The event occurred on March 8, when Ortiz allegedly fired approximately ten rounds from an AR-15-style weapon.
Shooting Incident Details
Ortiz, aged 35 and a resident of Florida, is accused of deliberately targeting Rihanna. Prosecutors describe the act as “willful, deliberate, and premeditated” in their criminal complaint.

During a March 10 court appearance, Ortiz’s legal representation from the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office initially entered a “not guilty” plea. However, the arraignment was postponed until March 25, at which point the plea was withdrawn.
