Lizzo, Labrinth, Ricky Martin, Hugh Jackman to Debut at Ravinia Festival
The Ravinia Festival in Highland Park is set for an exciting summer with a lineup of star-studded performances. This year marks a historic season, highlighting the reopening of the newly renovated Hunter Pavilion as part of a significant $75 million upgrade for the festival’s 36-acre music park.

This summer, several renowned artists will debut at the festival, including:

The newly designed Hunter Pavilion promises an enhanced experience with roomier seating and a larger stage. Although there are fewer seats than before, the arrangement offers a more intimate atmosphere, making guests feel closer to the performers.
Concert Highlights
The concert series will begin with a performance by 21-year-old South Korean pianist Yunchan Lim on July 11, featuring the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO). Lizzo is also expected to join the performance, showcasing her flute skills.
- July 25: St. Vincent will collaborate with the CSO, presenting selections from her catalog.
- September 2: Labrinth will take the stage with the Chicago Philharmonic.

Celebrating Milestones at Ravinia
This season also marks the 90th anniversary of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s residency at Ravinia. The festivities include a visit from future CSO music director Klaus Mäkelä, who will conduct performances on August 6 and August 8, featuring works like Sibelius’s “Violin Concerto” and Stravinsky’s “The Firebird.”
A tribute concert honoring Chicago-born Quincy Jones is scheduled for August 13, led by his collaborator Jules Buckley. Additionally, Hugh Jackman will perform with the Chicago Philharmonic on August 9, and Ricky Martin will make his Ravinia debut on August 20.
