Three Seattle Seahawks Players Enter Unrestricted Free Agency
Three players from the Seattle Seahawks have officially entered unrestricted free agency as of Wednesday. Tight end Brady Russell, wide receiver Cody White, and defensive tackle Brandon Pili will now explore opportunities with other teams after not receiving tenders from the Seahawks.

The decision to let these players become unrestricted free agents came just before the 1 p.m. deadline that signaled the beginning of the new league year. Meanwhile, four other restricted free agents were either re-signed or received tenders from the Seahawks, including:

- Drake Thomas – linebacker (signed)
- AJ Finley – safety (signed)
- Chris Stoll – long snapper (signed)
Player Profiles
Brady Russell
At 27 years old, Brady Russell has been with the Seahawks for the past three seasons. He joined the team after being signed from the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice squad on September 20, 2023. Although he has yet to record a catch in his NFL career, he has contributed defensively with 31 tackles and a fumble recovery on special teams. In 2025, Russell recorded 396 special teams snaps, the highest on the Seahawks.
Cody White
Cody White, also 27, was signed to Seattle’s practice squad during the 2023 season. He made his debut in 2024 and showcased his skills by making two receptions for 44 yards and blocking a punt in a notable Week 9 overtime game against the Los Angeles Rams. Over 10 games in the recent season, White accumulated three catches for 90 yards, including his first career touchdown, while also making seven tackles in 117 special teams snaps. Across his four professional seasons with the Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers, he has logged 11 receptions for 169 yards.
Brandon Pili
Brandon Pili, a 26-year-old defensive tackle, joined the Seahawks’ practice squad in 2024 and made his NFL debut in 2025. Standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 344 pounds, he provided a robust presence on the defensive line. In his 13 games, he contributed with 12 tackles and a forced fumble. Over his three-year career, which includes stints with the Dolphins, Pili has accumulated 16 tackles in 25 games.
As the Seahawks head into the offseason, these unrestricted free agents will be looking to make an impact on other teams, testing their skills in new environments.
