The senior cup final 2026 between Presentation Brothers College, Cork and St Munchin’s College, Limerick is scheduled for Wednesday March 18th with a K. O. at 2: 00pm ET. Munster Rugby has published detailed ticket, travel and event information to help supporters plan arrival and observe ground regulations.

Senior Cup Final 2026 — Tickets, gates and seating

Supporters are encouraged to purchase and download tickets in advance because a large attendance is expected. Subject to availability, limited ticket sales may be offered from the Dolphin gate from 12: 30pm ET on match day. Stadium turnstiles will open from 12: 30pm ET and food outlets inside the ground will also open at that time.

There is unreserved seating in the West Stand. Munster Rugby advises that a no bag policy will be in operation: bags will not be permitted entry and there are no storage facilities at the ground. This is a non-alcohol event; alcohol will not be available inside the stadium and no one will be permitted to enter with alcohol, glass or soft drink containers.

What to expect on matchday: travel, safety and facilities

Supporters attending the senior cup final 2026 are asked to follow ground regulations and the instructions of stewards and security. Gardaí will be on duty at the ground on match day. The published list of prohibited items includes:

  • Alcohol
  • Flares, smokebombs and thunderflashes
  • Glass or soft drink containers

Food concessions at either end of the West Stand will serve a variety of hot food. Supporters are asked not to enter the pitch area at any time and to respect steward and security requests to ensure the event runs safely and smoothly.

Public transport is recommended for access to Virgin Media Park. From the city centre, the 203 bus from Patrick Street stops at the Pearse Road end of the ground. Munster Rugby will provide free parking in the Black Ash Park and Ride Car Park for all supporters on match day; that car park is a short walk to Virgin Media Park. There is no parking available at Virgin Media Park itself. Any cars blocking entrances will be towed and supporters are asked to respect local residents in the surrounding area.

Munster Rugby sets out these arrangements to help ensure a safe, well-managed fixture for both schools’ supporters on match day.
