Personal Journey and Inspiration

O’Brien shared that the creation of Blue Morpho stemmed from one of the most difficult periods in his life. In late 2020, he experienced profound depression. To cope, he immersed himself in playing guitar for extended hours. O’Brien credits this musical escapism, along with the techniques of motivational speaker Win Hof, for aiding his recovery.

In addition to his solo efforts, O’Brien hinted at future Radiohead performances. He mentioned a plan to tour a different continent each year, committing to play 20 shows annually. This exciting news suggests ongoing activity for both O’Brien and Radiohead fans alike.
