The Season 3 field includes 24 competitors: Robyn Almodovar, Avishar Barua, Chris Brown, Dawn Burrell, Monique Cadavona, Sam Fore, Lex Grant, Trimell Hawkins, Anthony Iracane, Maryam Ishtiaq, Joe Isidori, Brian Malarkey, Maria Mazon, Christina Miros, Shota Nakajima, Olivia Ostrow, Viet Pham, Michele Ragussis, Alex Stupak, Lee Anne Wong, Molly Yeh, Zac Young, Ara Zada and Antonello Zito.
At the end of Season 3, the last chef standing will receive $100, 000, described as the largest prize given out by the show so far. But the contest’s deeper wager is time itself: 24 hours of decisions made while energy drops and pressure rises, with each challenge asking for a new gear—strategy, speed, precision, and elevation among them.
The season’s weekly rollout runs through a May 31 finale. Guest judges named for the finale include Alex Guarnaschelli, Jet Tila and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. In the premiere’s first shift, the chefs face a strategy skills round with Jet Tila, and only those who impress him earn the chance to continue what the show frames as “the longest day of their professional lives. ”
