Last season, Flacco began as the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns before being traded to the Bengals to lead their offense while starter Joe Burrow recovered from an injury.

Despite these numbers, Flacco was not offered a starting position by any team this month. He expressed his disappointment at this decision during a press conference. “Believe me, I wish I was a guy somewhere,” Flacco stated. He further criticized teams that chose not to consider him as their primary quarterback option, stating, “I think teams are dumb for not having me be that guy.”
