Bangalter’s DJ History
Before this recent performance, Bangalter last played a DJ set in 2025 at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. That surprise performance included collaborations with Fred again…, Phantasy Sound’s Erol Alkan, and Ed Banger’s Pedro Winter.
Additionally, Bangalter performed alongside Guy Manuel de Homem Christo, his former Daft Punk partner, during the Weeknd’s set at the 2017 Grammy Awards. This showed the lasting influence of Daft Punk even after their split in 2021.
Recent Projects
Since Daft Punk disbanded, they have released a tenth-anniversary edition of their iconic album, “Random Access Memories.” A new music video for their 2005 track “Human After All” was also launched, commemorating five years since their breakup.
