Weezer has officially kicked off their ‘The Gathering’ tour with an unexpected rooftop concert in Venice Beach. This surprise acoustic performance took place atop the Hinano Cafe, showcasing the band’s passion for connecting with fans in unique settings.

On Friday, Weezer played a five-song acoustic set, featuring classic hits such as:

Initiation Week Activities

As part of ‘Weezer: The Gathering – Initiation Week,’ the band has organized a series of events around Los Angeles. Fans can look forward to:

Tour Details

Weezer’s ‘The Gathering’ tour is set to begin on September 8 in Sacramento and will include 32 shows across the U.S. and Canada. The tour will conclude on October 24 in Los Angeles. Special guests for the tour include The Shins and Silversun Pickups.

Upcoming Releases

Adding to the excitement, Weezer will release a new single titled “Shine Again” on April 1. This track is part of their upcoming album, which marks their first release since 2021’s ‘Van Weezer.’ Additionally, the band previously released a four EP project, ‘SZNZ,’ in 2022.
