BTS Reclaims Artist 100 Top Spot, Debuts 13 ‘ARIRANG’ Tracks on Hot 100
BTS has reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, following the release of their new album, *ARIRANG*, on March 20. The album, released through BigHit Music, Geffen, and Interscope Capitol, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 641,000 equivalent album units sold in its first week, according to Luminate.
BTS’s Historical Success with *ARIRANG*
This achievement marks a significant milestone for BTS, representing their seventh No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It is their first since the release of *Proof* in 2022. Moreover, *ARIRANG* has recorded the biggest opening week of 2026 so far, the largest since Taylor Swift’s album, *The Life of a Showgirl*, which sold 4.002 million copies in October.
Additionally, *ARIRANG* has earn its place as the eighth-biggest week of the 2020s decade, solidifying BTS’s prominent presence in the music industry.
Artist 100 Chart Dominance
In conjunction with their Billboard 200 success, BTS leads the Artist 100 chart for the 22nd week overall and the first time since June 2022. Since the chart’s inception in 2014, only four other artists have spent more time at No. 1:
