Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord Season 2 Officially Announced
Lucasfilm Animation has officially announced Season 2 of the highly anticipated animated series, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord. The announcement was made by Dave Filoni, President and Chief Creative Officer of Lucasfilm, who has been a pivotal figure in the franchise’s evolution.
Exciting Continuation of Maul’s Journey
Following the intense plot of Season 1, which premieres a two-episode launch on April 6, 2026, the narrative will continue to explore Maul’s quest for revenge. In this new season, the former Sith Lord aims to reestablish his criminal empire on a planet that remains untouched by the Empire’s influence.
New Characters and Voice Cast
Season 2 will enrich the story with a variety of new and returning characters. Maul’s relentless pursuit for revenge leads him to a young Jedi Padawan, who has become disillusioned with the Jedi Order. This Padawan may hold the key to Maul’s plans as he seeks an apprentice.
