Ketamine Dealer Receives 15-Year Sentence in Matthew Perry Death Case
Jasveen Sangha, infamously known as the “Ketamine Queen,” received a 15-year prison sentence for her role in the death of actor Matthew Perry. The 42-year-old pleaded guilty to multiple federal drug charges connected to Perry’s passing in October 2023.

Sangha was sentenced on Wednesday after admitting to five charges. These included maintaining a drug-involved premises and distributing ketamine, a powerful anesthetic, which resulted in Perry’s death. Federal prosecutors highlighted Sangha’s extensive drug trafficking operations based out of her North Hollywood residence.
According to the prosecution, Sangha marketed her services to high-profile clients in Hollywood, showing a blatant disregard for the risks associated with her actions. In October 2023, she sold Perry 51 vials of ketamine, which were administered by his personal assistant. Tragically, this led to Perry’s death.

Matthew Perry was found unresponsive in a jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023. An autopsy conducted on December 15 determined that his death was primarily due to acute ketamine effects. - Sangha’s associate, who was with her in selling ketamine to Perry, has also pleaded guilty to narcotics charges and is waiting for sentencing.
- Salvador Plasencia, who sold ketamine to Perry, received a 2.5-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to four counts of distribution.
- Mark Chavez, another associate in the case, was sentenced to three years of probation for conspiracy to distribute ketamine.
