Margot Robbie Reveals Plot for ‘Ocean’s 11’ Prequel

Margot Robbie has announced exciting details about the upcoming prequel to “Ocean’s 11.” The film will be set during the iconic Monaco Grand Prix, a hallmark event in the Formula One calendar. Unlike the original, which follows Danny Ocean’s escapades, this prequel focuses on his parents. Their heist occurs during the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix, showcasing their prime and cunning heist abilities.

Cast and Crew

Robbie will star in the film alongside Bradley Cooper, likely playing Danny’s parents. George Clooney, who played Danny Ocean in the 2001 “Ocean’s Eleven,” is also returning to the franchise with another sequel featuring the original cast, including Julia Roberts and Matt Damon.

Directing and Production

Cooper will direct the prequel after the previous directors, Lee Isaac Chung and Jay Roach, left the project. Robbie is producing the film through her company, LuckyChap. The screenplay is being penned by Carrie Solomon.

  • The yet-to-be-titled “Ocean’s” adventure is set to start filming in 2024.
