Rick Bowness’s Coaching Success

Bowness joined the Blue Jackets on January 12, taking over for Dean Evason. After 37 games under his leadership, the team achieved a commendable record of 21 wins, 11 losses, and 5 overtime losses, culminating in a .635 winning percentage.

Waddell expressed confidence in Bowness’s ability, stating, “Rick has done an outstanding job since his arrival.” He emphasized Bowness’s strong relationships with players, which are crucial for the team’s development and future aspirations.
