OU Reveals More Spring Game Details
The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department has unveiled additional details for its upcoming spring football game at the Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Scheduled for Saturday at noon, the game will consist of four quarters over 60 minutes. The first quarter will follow standard timing, while the final three quarters will utilize a running clock.
Game and Event Highlights
This year’s spring football game will maintain traditional scoring rules. Fans will receive a special spring version of the 2026 schedule poster, available to the first 5,000 attendees. Gates will open at 10 a.m., allowing fans ample time to settle in before the match. The game will also honor former OU players on the field prior to kickoff. Additionally, a halftime ceremony will feature the Air Force ROTC Oath of Enlistment.
Parking and Accessibility
- Free public parking will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis in various campus lots, including:
- Dale Hall Lot
- Duck Pond Lot
- Elm Street Garage
- Goddard Lot
- Jenkins Avenue Garage
- Monnett Lot
- Parkview Lot
- Sarkey’s Energy Center Lot
- Free parking with bus service to the stadium is also available at the Lloyd Noble Center.
Party at the Palace
Fans are invited to the “Party at the Palace, Presented by Allstate,” from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. This event will take place on the lawn north of the stadium and will include:
- Food trucks featuring Midway Deli, Morelos Supermercados, Taste of Africa, and Corn Dog Company.
- Activities from 1Oklahoma, live music, giveaways, interactive games, and inflatables.
Note that activities may change based on weather conditions.
Broadcast Information
The game will be broadcast on the Sooner Sports Radio Network, featuring announcers Toby Rowland, Teddy Lehman, Chris Plank, and Gabe Ikard. The game will not be available on television or through live-streaming.
Ticket Information
Tickets for the 2026 spring football game can be purchased at SoonerSports.com/tickets. General admission seats are available, with the following pricing:
- $12 for season ticket holders and Sooner Club members
- $17 for non-season ticket holders
- Free for OU students (tickets can be claimed via email)
Club-level season ticket holders can purchase tickets for the general admission club area for $12 each. Specific details for suite and loge box ticket holders will be communicated via email.
Super Sooner Weekend Activities
This event is part of the Super Sooner Weekend, featuring various sporting events:
- Baseball against Missouri on Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.
- Softball against Arkansas on Friday at 7 p.m., with other games scheduled throughout the weekend.
- 2026 SEC Women’s Tennis Championship from April 15-19 at the Headington Family Tennis Center.
Varsity O Sooners for Life Spring Weekend
This weekend also promotes the Varsity O’s Sooners For Life Spring Weekend, aimed at connecting former OU student-athletes. This year’s events will include a golf tournament, evening receptions, and a specific tailgate for letterwinners.
