John Fogerty set for Caesars Windsor stage in August

john fogerty is set to take the Colosseum stage at Windsor’s Caesars Windsor on Aug. 20, with Twisted Sister scheduled to follow on Oct. 10. Both shows are set for 8 p. m., putting the casino venue in the spotlight later this year. The booking brings john fogerty back to a room that will be rocking with two separate classic-rock nights.

John Fogerty brings a decades-spanning catalog

Fogerty, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Award winner, is set to perform a mix of songs that stretch across more than 50 years. The list named for the Windsor date includes Proud Mary, Susie Q, Fortunate Son, Born on the Bayou, Bad Moon Rising and Have You Ever Seen the Rain. The concert announcement also describes his sound as a blend of blues, country, pop, rock, R& B and swamp boogie.

In 2023, Fogerty realized a long-running goal by acquiring a majority interest in the publishing rights to his historic song catalogue. He recently released Legacy: The Creedence Clearwater Revival Year (John’s Version), an album featuring new recordings of classic songs written by Fogerty. He is also set to receive the Johnny Mercer Award this year, the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s highest honour.

Twisted Sister follows with a different kind of volume

Twisted Sister will bring the hard-rock side of the double bill on Oct. 10, with Canadian Sebastian Bach on lead vocals. The band has sold more than 12 million records, performed more than 9, 000 shows and played 125 festival headline dates, while earning induction into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Metal Hall of Fame in 2023.

Among the group’s best-known releases, We’re Gonna Take It went platinum, and Stay Hungry reached three-times multi-platinum status in the United States. That contrast in styles gives the Windsor schedule a broad classic-rock pull, with john fogerty anchoring one night and Twisted Sister closing out another.

Tickets, age rules and show timing

Tickets for both performances are available through Ticket Master, the Caesars website or the box office. Guests must be 19 or older to attend the concerts and enter the casino and related outlets. Both performances are listed as 8 p. m. shows, and Windsor’s Colosseum is the venue named for the dates.

The latest schedule gives local fans two separate chances to see major rock acts at the same site. For john fogerty, the Windsor date adds another live appearance to a year already marked by recognition, new recordings and renewed attention to his catalogue. For Caesars Windsor, the pairing sets up a late-summer and early-fall run built around familiar songs and big-name nostalgia.

What comes next in Windsor

With Aug. 20 first on the calendar, the immediate focus now turns to stage setup, ticket sales and the response from fans planning for the Colosseum shows. The second date on Oct. 10 keeps the pace going into the fall, giving Windsor two chances to draw classic-rock crowds. In both cases, john fogerty remains the central name driving attention to the venue and the wider concert slate.
