Calvin Harris joins second wave of Global Player Capital line-up

Calvin Harris joined the latest global player line-up for Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard, adding a three-time BRIT Award-winner to the Wembley Stadium bill. The announcement came on Capital Breakfast as Jordan North, Chris Stark and Siân Welby revealed the new names for the 2026 show.

Wembley adds Harris

The latest reveal expands the event’s second wave after the first batch of acts was announced the previous day. Harris is returning to the Summertime Ball for the fourth time, with his set expected to include We Found Love, One Kiss and Blessings.

Saturday 6 June is the date set for Wembley Stadium, where the line-up is still being built ahead of the summer show. Capital describes the concert as the UK’s biggest summer music event, and the new booking adds another established draw before tickets reach the public.

Derulo, XG and MEEK

Jason Derulo, XG, Stephen Sanchez, Sienna Spiro, Lola Young and MEEK were also added in the latest wave. XG, the Japanese group on a current world tour, is this year’s Capital Buzz Artist, while MEEK will perform at Wembley for the first time after drawing attention with Fabulous.

Jason Derulo returns to the event for the first time since 2015, Sienna Spiro was shortlisted for a BRIT Award this year, and Lola Young is back on the bill. Stephen Sanchez joins after the success of Until I Found You, giving the line-up a mix of returning names and first-time Wembley bookings.

Global Player sale date

30 April at 9am is when tickets go on general sale exclusively on Global Player, giving fans a fixed window to act before the Wembley date arrives. Previously announced acts include RAYE, Niall Horan, Fatboy Slim and Myles Smith, and more performances are expected on the day, including the Barclaycard Out of the Blue slot.

Saturday’s bill now has enough established names to drive demand early, but the sale timing leaves buyers with little room before the 6 June show. For anyone planning to go, the immediate next step is simple: be ready for the 30 April 9am release on Global Player.
