Luis Fonsi adds final July 11 slot as Feq sells out
Feq filled its last major July 11 slot on Thursday at noon, adding Luis Fonsi to the Plains of Abraham and completing the 2026 lineup. The festival also said it is sold out, so the announcement closes the book on a program that had one glaring gap after the March 11 reveal.
Louis Bellavance and the 2022 return
Louis Bellavance said the festival was happy to pick up a date that had been lost in 2022, when Fonsi’s Plains of Abraham concert was cancelled by a storm. He also framed the booking as a chance to bring back a Latin-pop name that had already drawn attention from the FEQ audience, this time with a full evening built around it.
Three opening acts will set the stage for the night: Aria Vega, Cruzito and Frikiton. That gives the July 11 bill a clear shape, with the headliner now locked and the support lineup already in place for attendees who were waiting on the final piece.
March 11 left one gap
The July 11 headliner was not named when the FEQ programming was unveiled on March 11, after the artist originally slated for that night backed out only hours before the press conference. That left one of the biggest holes in the summer schedule until Thursday’s announcement filled it.
Fonsi now joins Gwen Stefani, Muse, Michael Bublé, Jelly Roll, The Lumineers, Limp Bizkit, Kesha, Martin Garrix, Souldia and Patrick Watson on the 2026 headliner list. The festival had already brought J Balvin and Farruko to its main stage, and this booking pushes that Latin-pop lane further into the center of the FEQ program.
