Stacey Solomon Returns for Third Stacey & Joe Series This Summer
stacey solomon and Joe Swash are set to return to screens this summer for a third series of Stacey & Joe, ending the pause that followed their December hiatus announcement. The reality show last aired in September, and the new run arrives while scrutiny over the couple’s marriage has stayed in the frame.
A source said the pair signed up for another season “in the hopes it would help diffuse their marriage split speculation,” while the show itself is being described as their busiest chapter yet. That gives the series a clear commercial job: keep the format moving while the off-screen narrative keeps drawing attention back to the couple.
Joe Swash’s lake project
The new series follows Joe Swash as he works toward his long-held dream of opening his own fishing lake and glamping site. Solomon and Swash also set out the tone for the run themselves: “If you watched the first series, you’ll know we’ve been talking about the lakes for ages… it feels a bit surreal to finally see it coming to life. With the juggle of family life thrown in, we’re learning as we go, so we’ll be just as surprised as everyone else to see how it all unfolds!”
That setup matters because the show is not just returning as a family check-in; it is shifting toward separately staged storylines. An insider said, “The strategic plan is to film as much as possible separately and focus on their individual projects. Expect to see a lot of Joe by his lake and Stacey doing her thing with brand deals and investments.”
A family of seven
The couple have been together for ten years and share Rex, six, Rose, four, and Belle, three. Solomon is also mum to Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, from previous relationships, while Swash is dad to Harry, 18, from an earlier relationship, giving the series a family of seven to follow.
The off-screen noise has not helped the narrative around the show. Reports said their 2022 wedding at Pickle Cottage was not legally binding, Solomon was pictured without her wedding ring in recent weeks, and she told followers, “Have I not been wearing my ring? I probably took it off to go to the toilet or something, I don’t know!”
September to this summer
She also joked, “Maybe I dropped the ring in the lake… with our marriage!” while the couple held crisis talks while on holiday in Cyprus. Solomon has been unusually quiet on social media, while Swash has been sharing photos of him and Rex watching a football match, chilling out with the family and progress on the lake. Their split management setup — with Solomon through Key Map Entertainments and Swash with Off Limits Group — suggests the third series will arrive with each of them pushing a separate brand as well as a shared one.
For viewers, the draw is straightforward: the show is returning with a built-in storyline, a bigger production focus on separate projects, and a marriage narrative that will follow it into summer. That is enough to make the third series feel less like a routine recommission and more like a test of whether the format can carry both the family business and the off-camera speculation at once.
