Lexie Brown says the klay thompson megan rumors did more than spread online. They left her as the only person publicly denying an affair with Thompson while the accusations kept moving.

Brown said she expected Thompson or Megan Thee Stallion to step in and stop it, but that never happened. She said she had a game to focus on while the story was circulating and that she was still the only one defending her name.

Brown’s denial and silence

“I wouldn't have minded if either one of them came out and said it because at the end of the day, they're the ones that are in the relationship, they're the ones that are dealing with this, and they're the ones who are communicating with each other. So one of them, if not both of them know that it was not me,” Brown said in a recent interview.

She added, “The truth is over there somewhere, and I was expecting it to reveal itself from that side of it... for them to just allow me to get dragged, for a lot of people to allow me to get dragged through the mud... it was just really disappointing.”

Brown also drew a line around the relationship itself. “Me and Klay, we know each other because we do play professional basketball. I wouldn't have considered him a friend. I do not know Meg The Stallion at all.”

Threats on Brown’s family

The fallout turned personal fast. Brown said, “I was getting threats on my life. I was getting threats on my health,” and said her family started getting comments and threats too.

That pressure forced her to travel with security. “My family started getting comments and threats from people. I've had to hire security to travel with me places. So it got to a point where I just was scared for myself,” she said.

Her father, Dee Brown, said the response around her has been hard to watch. “As a father, watching the negative, hateful, and most importantly, false attacks lobbed at my daughter has been debilitating,” he said.

Brown, a Seattle Storm veteran and 2021 WNBA champion, said she kept hearing the accusations while being left to answer them alone. Her point was simple: she says the rumor was false, she says she was publicly standing alone, and the damage had already reached her family by the time she was forced to hire protection.
