Manizales Authorizes Los de Sur for Once Caldas Vs Atlético Nacional

Manizales authorized only the Los de Sur Manizales Atlético Nacional supporters' group for once caldas vs atlético nacional at Palogrande. Andrés Mauricio Gaitán said the city limited entry to people born in and living in Manizales who belong to that bar.

Gaitán, the secretary of the Interior of Manizales, said the decision came from the Comité Local de Fútbol, whose five members voted on the operation before the match. He said the city closed the so-called frontiers because of the capacity in the south curve of Palogrande, where work is underway to install the stadium screen.

“Se autorizo únicamente a la barra Los de Sur Manizales, conformada hinchas que nacieron y viven en Manizales.”

Police and logistics plan

The security plan for Friday includes more than 500 police officers, 580 Once Caldas logistics and security staff, and more than 100 people from the municipal administration. Gaitán also said the National Army will support the operation with security rings outside the stadium.

“Tenemos un operativo de seguridad y convivencia con la Policía Nacional, la logística del Once Caldas y las diferentes secretarías Manizales.”

“Son más de 500 policías, 580 logísticos y de seguridad del Once Caldas, más 100 personas de la administración Municipal.”

“También nos acompañará el Ejercito Nacional haciendo anillos de seguridad en las afueras del estadio.”

Departures after the match

After the match, the city will use a Plan Desdoblamiento to guide departures in stages: first the family stands, then Atlético Nacional supporters, then the Brigada 11 bar, and finally Holocausto Norte. The sequence keeps the exit plan tied to the same security operation that controlled who could enter Palogrande in the first place.

The decision followed violence involving Holocausto Norte in Medellín, and that earlier episode sits behind the tighter access and the larger deployment in Manizales. For supporters who were allowed in, the practical change is simple: entry is restricted to the authorized bar, and movement around the stadium will be managed under the city’s escort plan before and after the match.
