Infantino's World Cup 2026 Sales Push Leaves $4,105 USA Tickets On Sale

World Cup 2026 ticket sales have moved into the final stretch, and most group-game seats are still available with just over a month to go before the June 11 kickoff. The biggest price on FIFA’s official site is $4,105 for the United States’ opening game against Paraguay in Los Angeles.

Infantino's January Forecast

Gianni Infantino said in January that demand for tickets for this year’s tournament in the U.S., Canada and Mexico was the equivalent of "1,000 years of World Cups at once" and that all 104 matches would be sold out. The current inventory tells a different story: tickets are still on sale through FIFA’s last-minute section after releases that began in September.

USA Paraguay Ticket Prices

Many of the remaining tickets are priced around $2,000, putting the opener in Los Angeles at the top end of the market. A Category 3 ticket for USA vs. Paraguay is listed at $1,120, while the cheapest tickets currently are $380 for seven different games.

That lower price shows up in several places, including Curacao vs. Ivory Coast in Philadelphia. Austria vs. Jordan is also listed with a Category 2 ticket at $380, leaving a wide gap between the cheapest seats and the priciest entry point for the tournament.

FIFA's Dynamic Pricing

FIFA is using dynamic pricing for the first time at a World Cup, and the tickets remain available on its official website rather than being fully cleared out before kickoff. For fans still looking for a way in, the market now runs from $380 seats to a $4,105 top price, with the tournament set to open on June 11.
