Tom Grennan to open Ccfc's We Are Back: Live on Monday

Ccfc will bring Tom Grennan to War Memorial Park on Monday for We Are Back: Live, the club’s celebration of a Premier League return for the first time in 25 years. The singer and Sky Blues fan is scheduled to go on at 15:00 BST as part of a day built around the open-top bus parade and a 50,000-fan festival.

War Memorial Park lineup

The one-day event runs from 13:00 to 19:00 and has The Enemy as headliners. Grennan is set to take the stage at 15:00 BST, slotting into a lineup the club says will mix local music and entertainment while welcoming players and staff onto the stage.

Tickets go on general sale on Wednesday, priced at £5 for season ticket holders and £10 for general admission, plus booking fees. The park event also has a 15:00 entry curfew, and supporters with tickets have been asked to attend earlier parts of the parade route.

Coventry Building Society Arena

Monday’s parade starts at the Coventry Building Society Arena before the celebrations move across the city and into the park. Coventry sealed automatic promotion on 17 April after a draw with Blackburn Rovers, then clinched the Championship title against Portsmouth.

The club has framed the celebration as a city-wide bank holiday event, saying it will “showcase a vibrant mix of local music and entertainment, celebrating the creativity and diversity of Coventry”. Grennan’s appearance gives the park event a familiar name for the support that has followed the club through the promotion run.

Bank holiday on Monday

The schedule leaves little margin for supporters who want both parts of the day. The parade begins first, but the park’s 15:00 entry curfew means fans arriving late could miss Grennan’s set and the build-up around the main stage.
