Caitlin Clark Cleared for Saturday Night as Indiana Fever Finish Preseason

Caitlin Clark was not listed on the indiana fever injury report entering Saturday night’s preseason finale against the Nigerian national team. That left her available after a collision in Thursday’s game against the Dallas Wings.

Clark's 21-point night

Clark still finished Thursday with a team-high 21 points. She made 2 of 3 three-pointers and 11 of 13 free throws, adding two rebounds, four assists and one steal before spending the rest of the game on the sideline.

The collision came late enough to spark concern, but she returned to the floor to make two free throws after the replay review produced a Flagrant 1 call. She then remained on the bench for the rest of the game.

Indiana's Preseason Picture

The Fever wrapped up their 2026 preseason schedule on Saturday night with Clark available. Indiana also expected Aliyah Boston to make her debut, and Ty Harris was cleared to play.

The availability check mattered because Clark was limited to 13 games in 2025 after a groin strain and an ankle bone bruise. ranked her No. 10 among the league's top 50 active players ahead of the WNBA's 30th season, with A'ja Wilson at No. 1.

May 9 in Dallas

Indiana opens the regular season on May 9 in Dallas against the Wings. For Clark, being off the injury report after Thursday's scare keeps the focus on whether the Fever can carry that preseason rhythm into the opener.
