Holmes brings a 2-1 record and a 3.62 ERA into the start. He has allowed 20 hits and 21 strikeouts to 12 walks in 27 1/3 innings, and he has gone six innings in three of his last five starts.

That run has kept him in a steady lane. Holmes has not allowed more than three runs in any of his first six starts, which gives Atlanta a chance to keep the rotation on schedule as the road trip begins.

Jose Quintana And Colorado
