Nelly Korda Opens Three-Shot Lead at Mayakoba
Nelly Korda took a three-shot lead into the final round of the 2026 Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba after 54 holes in Mexico. She reached 14 under through three rounds at El Camaleon Golf Course and now has one round to protect a margin over Arpichaya Yubol.

Korda posted rounds of 68-67-67 to get there. Her Saturday evening comment said the week had not come with her "A-game," which fits the numbers in front of her: a lead anyway, and a score that kept moving lower despite the uneven feel she described.
That kind of week has already shown up before this season. Korda won the 2026 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions after the event was called after 54 holes, then was tied for the lead with eight holes to play at the 2026 Fortinet Founders Cup before a late three-putt. She also saw a 36-hole lead vanish at the 2026 Ford Championship and shot 75 on Sunday at the Aramco Championship to finish T2.
Chevron Championship Run
The stronger side of her season has been louder. One week earlier, Korda won the 2026 Chevron Championship, the first LPGA major of the year, for her second Chevron title and third career major win. That victory also put her back at No. 1 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings.
Her season line now reads 1-2-2-T2-1 through five starts, and the Riviera Maya Open gives her a direct chance to turn another solid week into another trophy. Arpichaya Yubol sits closest, but Korda controls the final-round setup from the front of the board at 14 under.
