Vasilevskiy At Bell Centre

Vasilevskiy was the difference. The Lightning goaltender handled 30 shots and held Montreal off until Goncalves turned a rebound into his first career playoff goal.

Dobes was sharp at the other end, posting a.970 save percentage before the deciding goal slipped through. He stopped 32 shots, but Tampa Bay needed only one opening to end Game 6.

Goncalves Delivers The Winner

Goncalves scored after Tampa Bay, selected him in the second round at No. 62 in 2020, got the puck back to the net front. He finished the season with 11 goals in 74 games, then added the biggest one of his playoff run in overtime.

The goal came at 9:02 of overtime and extended a series that had stayed tight from the start. All six games were decided by one goal, and four went past regulation.
