Roxanne Perez Earns Liv Morgan’s Praise, WWE Future Put on Notice
Liv Morgan says roxanne perez is “so incredibly talented,” and she is already treating her like a future pillar of WWE. Morgan said the future of WWE is “more than safe” in Perez’s hands after watching the 24-year-old move quickly through the company. The praise landed as Perez’s run with Judgment Day has tied her rise to one of WWE’s top champions.
Liv Morgan backs Roxanne Perez
Morgan laid out the case plainly in an interview with Digital. “I think Roxanne is so incredibly talented,” she said, adding, “She’s so young and so aware in the ring.”
She kept going from there. “She really knows what she’s doing,” Morgan said, before describing the faction’s role in Perez’s growth: “For us, the Judgment Day, to take our little Roxy under our wing and set her up as the next great for the next generation.”
Morgan also said, “She’s definitely under my tutelage,” and added, “I’m teaching her a lot.” Her strongest line was reserved for the bigger picture: “The future of WWE is more than safe in my little Roxy’s hands.”
Perez’s rapid WWE climb
Nearly a year ago, Perez earned her WWE main roster call-up after qualifying for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match with a win over Becky Lynch and Natalya. A few weeks later, she joined Judgment Day when she replaced an injured Morgan as one-half of the women’s tag team champions.
That stretch pushed Perez into a title scene almost immediately. She and Raquel Rodriguez held the women’s tag team titles for more than a month before losing them on Night 1 of SummerSlam to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair.
Her résumé already carried weight before the praise from Morgan. Perez is a two-time NXT women’s champion and a one-time NXT women’s tag team champion, and she is 24 years old.
Judgment Day’s next stretch
Perez recently rejoined Judgment Day after spending a few weeks recovering from back surgery, and she and Rodriguez were in Morgan’s corner when Morgan beat Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42. That keeps the relationship between champion and rising talent close, with Morgan now publicly framing Perez as the next generation’s face of the group.
For Perez, the attention is no longer only about her own title history. It now includes a champion’s vote of confidence, a faction role, and the kind of ring-time trust that usually comes much later.
