Arrendondo said the shooting happened just before 10 a.m. and that it appears the victims were meeting 69-year-old Seung Han Ho for a business transaction. He said Ho fired shots, and authorities have not disclosed the identities of the victims.
Foot Chase to Koreatown
Ho was arrested a few miles away at the Koreatown shopping center after a brief foot chase. Video from SKY 4 showed a group of FBI agents assembled at the scene while police urged people to avoid the area as they investigated the case.
Carrollton Police Investigation
Arrendondo said the shooting was not a random act of violence or a hate crime. The case remains under investigation, and the police chief’s statement leaves the central facts clear for people tied to the plaza: the shooting ended with one suspect in custody, and officers said there was no continuing threat to the area.
