Salman Khan’s SVC63 Eyes Fahadh Faasil or Akshaye Khanna

salman khan has started shooting SVC63, but the film still has not locked its main villain. Fahadh Faasil and Akshaye Khanna are now being considered for the negative role in the Eid 2027 action entertainer.

The project is tentatively titled SVC63 and is being made with Vamshi Paidipally. Nayanthara is also set to star, in what would be her first on-screen collaboration with Khan.

An insider said the makers want someone who can "strongly match Salman's screen presence." The same source said Faasil and Khanna bring "very different styles and energies" to the screen, which gives the team two sharply different options for the film’s central conflict.

Manali Before Hyderabad

The next schedule is expected to happen in Manali before the team moves to Hyderabad for another major shooting leg. Scenes involving the antagonist are reportedly planned for the Hyderabad schedule, so the casting decision now sits directly inside the production plan rather than being a late marketing detail.

Earlier, Arvind Swamy was being considered for the part. The makers have not officially confirmed the reports, and that leaves the villain’s face as the biggest open casting call in a film already moving forward on the ground.

Eid 2027 Release Window

SVC63 is aiming for an Eid 2027 release, which gives the production a fixed commercial target while it sorts out the antagonist. Khan is also waiting for the release of Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and inspired by the Galwan Valley clash.

For now, the practical reading is simple: the film is in motion, the leads are set, and the antagonist role is still the part that will shape how the Hyderabad stretch is staged.
