Ciara Miller Campaigns for Val Chmerkovskiy on Dancing With The Stars
Ciara Miller said she has been campaigning for Val Chmerkovskiy as her dancing with the stars partner while she gets ready for Season 35. She made the pitch before attending the Met Gala on Monday, turning a casting wish into an active push.
"I've been campaigning for Val [Chmerkovskiy]" Miller said while chatting with Erin Lim Rhodes at the Pierre Hotel. "I don't know if they hear me, I'm sending out some emails, putting my word in."
Pierre Hotel Pitch
Miller, known for starring on Bravo's Summer House and Peacock's The Traitors, said she is not waiting around for a pairing to be finalized. "We'll see where everyone wants to place me," she said, then added that she is already thinking about the work ahead.
"I got my butt in the gym, because I gotta build my stamina," she said. "I have dance numbers to perform, we're already in prep mode." That gives her campaign a second lane: she is lobbying for a specific pro while treating the show like a training block, not a red-carpet fantasy.
Season 35 Names
Season 35 of Dancing With The Stars already includes Maura Higgins, and Henry Winkler and Nic Vansteenberghe are also rumored to be taking a spot. Miller's name sits in that same casting conversation, but her public push makes Chmerkovskiy the clearest partner ask so far.
The surrounding Bravo spillover only adds pressure. Miller's ex-boyfriend West Wilson started dating Amanda Batula, a Summer House cast member and close friend of hers, and that situation is slated to play out on the upcoming Summer House reunion. A reality-TV casting room that already has multiple moving parts can turn a partner choice into part of the story rather than just a production decision.
Corset And Prep Mode
Miller also used the Met Gala appearance to keep the focus on the work, not the wardrobe. She wore a cream-colored corseted ensemble with a matching head piece and said, "I feel like corsets were made at the beginning of time," before adding, "We had a corset before we had electricity. Why not incorporate that into my look? I feel like I'm serving bridal, but I feel like I just wanted to look like super snatch, no waist, give people something to look up top, and of course, had to have a little hair piece."
For now, the practical read is straightforward: Miller is already behaving like a contestant, not a guest. If Season 35 follows the shape she is trying to influence, Chmerkovskiy is the partner she wants on the floor.
