Cyprus Weather Holds Mostly Clear Skies, 23 Degrees Inland — Todays Weather

Cyprus weather on Wednesday is expected to stay mostly clear across most of the island, with todays weather bringing only isolated pockets of afternoon rain mainly inland and in the mountains. Inland areas are set to reach 23 degrees Celsius, while the coasts should top out at 22 degrees Celsius and the mountains at 12 degrees Celsius.

Mount Olympus Snow

As of dawn, the depth of snow atop Mount Olympus was 10 centimetres, adding a cold-weather note to a forecast that otherwise points to a dry day for much of Cyprus. Tom, Cyprus Mail’s chief reporter, reported the forecast across inland areas, the coasts and the mountains in one day-by-day update.

Wednesday Night Skies

Overnight skies are expected to be largely clear, with temperatures dropping to 11 degrees Celsius inland, 13 degrees Celsius on the coasts and five degrees Celsius in the mountains. The mountain low leaves the higher elevations noticeably colder than the rest of the island, even after a day of milder daytime readings.

Thursday To Saturday

From Thursday until the weekend, the skies are expected to remain clear, and temperatures are expected to rise until Saturday. For readers planning travel, outdoor work or time in the hills, the immediate change is a mostly dry stretch after Wednesday’s limited afternoon rain risk, with the coolest conditions staying concentrated in the mountains.
