4DX adds wind, rain, mist and smells, while seats move with what is happening on screen. That gives the finale a theatrical wrapper that is more aggressive than a standard TV premiere, and it is the kind of booking that makes a season end feel like an event ticket rather than a routine streaming drop.

Eric Kripke and Evan Goldberg said they are committed to continuing the Gen V characters’ stories in The Boys season five and other VCU projects on the horizon.
