Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick Exits on Survivor 50 Episode 11 Recap

Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick’s survivor 50 episode 11 recap ended with a vote that turned on her after a chaotic Tribal Council. Rick Devens exposed key alliances, a Mr. Beast Beware Advantage introduced a coin flip with a 50 percent chance of going home, and Kendrick’s run was over by the end of the night.

Rick Devens Upsets Tribal Council

Rick Devens started outing Kendrick and Jonathan at Tribal Council, and she said the moment forced immediate damage control. “Oh, here we go. Now I have to do damage control,” Kendrick said, before adding, “I got to jump in here.”

She said she could not throw Jonathan under the bus even though it was his plan. “When I give you my word, I give you my word,” she said, which left her trying to hold a line while the vote kept shifting around her.

The Mr. Beast Coin Flip

The Mr. Beast Beware Advantage then put the tribe in a coin-flip spot Kendrick described as a 50 percent chance of going home. Jeff told the group, “Wow, we didn’t think anybody would volunteer. You have a 50 percent chance of going home,” and Kendrick said, “Shit, I want to flip the coin after that mess.”

Cirie told her, “I think you’re safe, but if you want to flip the coin, flip the coin,” and Kendrick finally said, “I’ll just let Devens do it.” She said she was shocked by the result and then clapped as if she were happy for him: “I am a good actress!”

Aubry Vote Turns on Kendrick

Kendrick said there would be a vote and a backup plan if Devens was safe, and she thought Aubry would be the target. Another live tribal turned to Aubry, but the plan did not hold. “Apparently they were all going for me,” she said, adding that Jonathan went with the vote at the last minute.

The camp had already been gaming out Mr. Beast possibilities, including someone being miraculously safe, someone being forced out immediately, or someone leaving for a whole bunch of money, even $1 million. For Kendrick, the result was simpler: a messy Tribal Council, a lost control of the vote, and an exit that left her reacting in real time instead of steering the game.
