Rickie Fowler Pga Championship 2026 Pop-Up Shop Opens at Aronimink
rickie fowler pga championship 2026 has started its local buildout with a 50,000-square-foot pop-up shop open at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square. The temporary store went live Friday at 9 a.m., ahead of Monday’s first practice round and next week’s tournament.
Inside, the shop carries more than 1,500 limited and exclusive items for the event. Michael Quirk said, "There's over 1,500 different items to choose from - all limited, exclusive for this event. So it's not like you walk in here and you can pick something out a year later. This is it, and I think that's what makes it so exciting," making the merchandise drop part of the tournament week itself rather than a simple retail add-on.
Aronimink Golf Club Opens Friday
The shop was assembled in just a few weeks on the golf course, a fast turnaround that matches the pace of the tournament’s arrival. Quirk also said, "We provide the best experience we can. We keep inventory levels at the highest level possible throughout the event, and we try to make sure everyone has the best experience," which means the operation is built to handle heavy traffic once play starts.
Tournament activities begin Monday with the first practice round, and the PGA Championship is set to begin next week at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square. The public opening gives early visitors a first shot at the event gear before the crowds swell around the course.
Visit Delco Sees 200,000
Rob MacPherson said, "Two hundred thousand people are expected to attend the golf tournament over the course of seven days with a $125 million economic impact projected by the PGA." That scale explains why local hotels are already fully booked for the duration of the tournament and why nearby businesses are treating the week as a major spike in demand.
Previous tournaments at Aronimink, including the Women's PGA Championship in 2020, brought noticeable increases in business. Casey's Public House is leaning into that same pattern this time, with co-owner Andrew Crisanti saying, "We're running some golf specials in terms of cocktails, we're going to do your John Daly's," and, "Ready to rock for the week. It's an exciting time and it's exciting for Newtown Square for the new people to come to town and experience it," as the event begins to reshape the pace around Newtown Square.
