Westlife Announces Westlife Tour Australia Dates After 20-Year Gap

Westlife tour australia is back after 20 years, with the band announcing seven arena shows across Australia and New Zealand for July 2027. The run lands alongside the release of 25 – The Ultimate Collection, turning the 25th anniversary campaign into a live and recorded push at the same time.

Shane said the group had not toured Australia and New Zealand in 20 years and called the return a chance to celebrate the milestone together. He added: “We can’t believe it’s been 20 years since we last toured in Australia and New Zealand, so it only felt right that we should come back and celebrate our 25th Anniversary together.”

Seven arenas in July 2027

The Australia and New Zealand leg opens at RAC Arena in Perth on 16 July 2027, then moves to Adelaide's Entertainment Centre on 18 July, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on 21 July, Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on 23 July, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 26 July, Spark Arena in Auckland on 28 July and Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch on 30 July.

That seven-show route gives the band a concentrated arena schedule across five Australian cities and two New Zealand stops, all in the same month. Live Nation produced the tour, so the announcement now shifts from a statement of intent to a ticketing timetable with venue-specific demand.

Sales start on 12 May

Mastercard cardholders in Australia and eligible Westpac New Zealand customers with a Westpac New Zealand Mastercard get presale access from Tuesday 12 May at 12pm local until Thursday 14 May at 12pm local. Live Nation presale begins Thursday 14 May at 1pm local and runs until Friday 15 May at 1pm local.

Preferred ticket access in Australia and exclusive preferred tickets for eligible Westpac New Zealand customers both open on Friday 15 May at 2pm local, when general on-sale tickets also become available. For anyone planning the 2027 run, that leaves a narrow early-access window before seats go on sale to everyone else.

25th Anniversary package

25 – The Ultimate Collection arrived on 8 May 2026 with 21 fan favourites and brand-new material recorded by Shane, Nicky, Kian and Mark. Westlife says the 25th Anniversary show will be its most exciting and ambitious to date, and the band says it will perform all of the hits.

The timing is deliberate: the album gives the tour a current release to sell, while the tour gives the anniversary campaign a second revenue stream two years later. Westlife has 36 No.1 albums worldwide, 14 UK No.1 singles, more than 55 million records sold and more than 6 million concert tickets sold worldwide, so the new leg is aimed at a catalogue that already travels well.

For fans in Australia and New Zealand, the practical move is simple: mark the presale window, then the general sale on 15 May, because the band is treating this as a one-off anniversary run after a two-decade gap. Shane’s sign-off said it plainly: “Australia and New Zealand – we cannot wait to see you!”
