Jinkx Monsoon Sets Two New York City Center Dates for Holiday Run

Midtown Gets the Ninth Run
Two performances mark the clearest change for New York audiences: this year’s show lands at New York City Center on November 25 and 27, and the run will be part of a full tour. Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme are writing the show again this year, which keeps the format moving even as the venue gets a bigger address.
2024’s edition is all new, continuing a model that has changed year to year rather than repeating the same holiday package. The project has already expanded beyond the stage once before, spawning The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special in 2020.
BenDeLaCreme Leads Production
BenDeLaCreme is directing and producing the show, with DeLa, Kevin Heard, and Gus Lanza on the producing team under the BenDeLaCreme Presents banner and Jin Moon as associate producer. That lineup keeps the operation close to the people who built it, instead of handing the holiday run to outside management for a one-off.
Monsoon’s profile has also widened since the show began. She recently starred in two high-grossing stints in Cole Escola’s Oh, Mary!, created Ruth in last season’s Pirates! The Penzance Musical, played Matron "Mama" Morton in Broadway’s Chicago, and made her Off-Broadway debut in 2024 as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors.
