Ford Unveils Ford Super Duty Carhartt Truck, Sales Start May 8

Ford and Carhartt introduced the ford super duty carhartt truck for XLT Crew Cab pickups, putting a workwear-themed package on a specific Super Duty configuration. Sales start May 8. The setup narrows the audience to buyers who want the look and the added utility together.

Ford Super Duty Carhartt Package

The package adds a painted grille, a choice neutral color palette and manhole cover-inspired wheels. Carhartt graphics appear on the fender vents, doors and tailgate, where they also add a layer of paint protection.

The Carhartt logo is stamped in the bed and paired with a Tough Bed spray-in bedliner. Ford also added textured off-road running boards for grip and access, plus roof markers and clearance lamps.

Carhartt Logo Inside

Inside, Ford used upholstery that is highly abrasion-resistant and water-repellent like Carhartt's Duck Canvas textile. The material has a broken-in feel and a color reminiscent of Carhartt's Oiled Walnut heathered jersey fabric.

The front headrests and map pockets carry embroidered Carhartt logos. Carhartt triple-stitching appears on the seats and door panels, while the cabin also gets a wrapped steering wheel and all-weather floor mats inspired by a Carhartt tool bag.

XLT Crew Cab Limits

Ford is offering the package on XLT Crew Cab pickups with single-rear-wheels and 40/console/40 seating configurations. It can be paired with the Premium Package and the FX4 Off-Road Package, giving buyers a few ways to build around the collaboration without moving to a different truck line.

That limited fit matters for shoppers who want the Carhartt treatment but need to match a specific Super Duty layout. For them, the May 8 start date is the point when the package becomes available to order or buy through the available Ford setup.
