Karl-Anthony Towns and Maxey
Karl-Anthony Towns finished Game 3 with eight points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and one block in 26 minutes, though foul trouble sent him to the bench for most of the second and third quarters. Even so, the Knicks have kept Tyrese Maxey from taking over by using hard traps and blitzes around him.
Maxey still produced 17 points on 8-of-12 shooting in 44 minutes and added seven assists, which gives Philadelphia a clear threat to build around if it can get enough support elsewhere. Mikal Bridges has also bounced back after a rocky start to the postseason and is now producing at a high level in his hometown of Philadelphia, giving New York another steady option as it tries to close out the series.
