Canadiens Add Third Screen for Game 3 Watch Party — Montreal Canadiens Tickets

montreal canadiens tickets are not required for the free playoff watch party outside the Bell Centre, and the Canadiens expanded the setup again on Saturday by adding a third screen for Game 3 on Sunday night. Thousands of fans have already packed avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal for the home-game gatherings, and the extra screen is meant to handle that crowd.

Bell Centre watch party grows

The Canadiens wrote on X, “The Canadiens Watch Party-Street Edition is expanding!” They added that they had “added a third screen outside the Bell Centre to accommodate the incredible demand we’ve seen for our outdoor viewing parties on home game days so far and are excited to once again see avenue des Canadiens-de-Montreal packed for our free event.”

That expansion comes after the series was tied 1-1 following the Canadiens’ 5-1 road win in Buffalo. The team will host Buffalo in Game 3 of the second round on Sunday night, with the outdoor crowd set to grow around a home playoff date that has already drawn thousands.

Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal changes

The watch party did not start this way. At first, tall fencing created a relatively narrow fan zone along avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal, then Montreal police asked for the barriers to be removed because they were “potentially dangerous” and could make it harder to evacuate the area if necessary. Jean-Pierre Brabant said the police presence around Canadiens playoff games has become routine in recent weeks, with staffing increased further during home playoff dates.

The team also reminded fans on Saturday that fireworks, flares, pyrotechnics and smoke bombs are prohibited in public spaces. For anyone heading to the free event, the only change needed is simple: the viewing area is bigger, and the crowd is likely to be too.
