Prateek Yadav Dies at 38 in Lucknow

Prateek Yadav died in Lucknow on Wednesday at the age of 38 after being brought to Civil Hospital around 6 am for treatment. Doctors at the hospital declared him dead, and police began legal proceedings after the death.

Yadav was the younger son of late Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and the half-brother of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav. He was married to BJP leader Aparna Yadav.

Civil Hospital in Lucknow

Police made heavy deployment at Civil Hospital as they carried out the formal steps that follow a death in such a case. Yadav’s body was sent to the post-mortem house, adding another layer of procedure around the family’s loss.
