Police investigate body found on Grand Boulevard, Joondalup
Police investigated joondalup after a woman's body was found on Grand Boulevard on Wednesday morning. Resident Ken Forrest said he came across the scene at 8.30am. Police later said a report from St John paramedics reached them at around 9.45am.
The body was found outside the Arthouse apartments, right outside café Cinnayum, and police treated the matter as a suspicious death. Around 30 officers were outside the apartment block by about 12.30pm.

Police said the woman was left at the scene by a yet to be identified male. Detectives were still investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, while officers cordoned off a section of the road and seized CCTV footage from the apartment complex and neighbouring businesses.
For residents living near the closure, the most immediate change was the police presence around the block. Forrest said, "As soon as I walked out there was a bunch of tape around the area and an ambulance. (The police) couldn’t tell us what happened," while Mohammad La Faraj said, "I just hope that our neighbours are safe, I just hope nobody’s hurt. It’s good to know that there are people working on it,"
St John paramedics and police
A St John Ambulance spokesperson said paramedics were cooperating with police. Anyone with information about the death was urged to contact crime stoppers.
