For the 49ers, the roster answer is now in place with Evans and Stribling, and the rest of the league has already shown how quickly it is willing to move on to younger options.
That leaves Aiyuk in a different lane from the 49ers’ new receiver plan. His next team is part of the conversation, but the San Francisco side of the story is set: the 49ers have moved on with a veteran signing and a draft pick built to help absorb the change.
