That timing gives season-ticket holders a narrow window between pricing release and the first payment. The club's setup also means the default path is renewal unless a member acts before the deadline.
MLS Sprint Season Changes
The 2027-2028 membership will cover both the 2027 MLS Sprint Season and the 2027-2028 MLS season, which means more games than usual as the 2027 MLS Sprint Season transitions quickly into the next campaign. Minnesota United FC said the 2027-2028 MLS season will be a Sprint Season with a globally aligned competition calendar and new annual rivalries.
MLS will return in July after a brief summer break to begin a full 34-game season under the new summer-to-spring competition calendar. Beginning in 2027-2028, every club will be guaranteed to host every other MLS team at least once every two seasons, and Minnesota United FC said it will host new rivalry matchups against Chicago Fire and FC Cincinnati.
