Charlamagne tha God Fuels Karol G Drake New Album Rumor
Charlamagne tha God said on Monday that Karol G appears on Drake’s drake new album, Iceman. The claim arrives while the project is said to be right around the corner, but neither artist has said it themselves.
Charlamagne On The Breakfast Club
Charlamagne made the remark on The Breakfast Club, tying Karol G to an unreleased album that has already drawn heavy speculation. If the appearance holds, it would mark Karol G’s first-ever collaboration with Drake and add another Latin-music crossover to his catalog.
Drake has built that side of his discography in steps. He sang, “Spanish girls love [him] like [he's] Aventura.” on 2011’s The Motto, then in 2014 made his first-ever attempt at singing in Spanish on a song with Romeo Santos.
Drake’s Latin Track Record
2018 brought the most visible proof of commercial reach: Drake and Bad Bunny’s Mía peaked at Number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, and it gave Bad Bunny his first top ten on the chart as a lead artist. Drake rapped entirely in Spanish on the track, then returned to Bad Bunny five years later with Gently, which reached Number 12 on the Hot 100.
2022 and 2024 extended the pattern through Gordo, with multiple tracks on Honestly, Nevermind and later songs on Diamantes, including Healing and Sideways. Gordo said in 2024, “He rides for me that heavy and he’s letting the world know that,” which is the clearest sign Drake has kept the Latin lane open even as Iceman stays unreleased.
Karol G And Iceman
Monday’s claim leaves the record in a familiar place for Drake: a feature rumor with business upside, but no public tracklist to back it yet. Karol G’s name adds weight because it would be a first pairing, and that kind of crossover is exactly what makes an album like Iceman a moving target before release.
