Emidio S. Wins $44 Million Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball in Jarvis Man Lotto 6/49 Win
Emidio S. turned a drive to work into a jarvis man lotto 6/49 win after hearing on the radio that the Ontario LOTTO 6/49 Gold Ball prize had been won and checking his ticket on the spot. The Jarvis resident later logged into his OLG.ca account and saw that he had won $44 million in the March 11 draw.
He said, “something told me to stop the car and check right away.” After he noticed an email from the Ontario Lottery Corporation that “looked a little different than normal,” he logged in and saw the prize amount. “I logged into my OLG.ca account and was shocked when I saw the prize amount. Was it $4,400 or $44,000?” he said.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation identified the winner only as Emidio S. He said he signed out of his OLG.ca account, logged back in, and saw the $44 million figure again before telling his wife when he got home. “I couldn’t wrap my head around it. Finally, I said to myself, ‘I better tell my wife,’” he said.
His wife’s reaction was immediate. “If this is true, we won’t have to worry about the kids’ futures ever again,” she said. That was the family’s first practical question after the prize amount appeared on screen, before the win had fully settled in.

At the prize centre in Toronto, Emidio S. said his first priority was taking his wife on a dream vacation. “My wife works 12-hour days, sometimes seven days a week,” he said. He added that he wanted to see the world with family and friends and help his children.
He tied that plan to what he wants the money to change for them. “I’m hoping they’ll be able to live out their ambitions and careers on their own terms, rather than simply working to pay the bills,” he said. The jackpot gives the family a clear new starting point: a verified $44 million prize, a winner identified by the OLG as Emidio S., and a decision already made about who he wants to help first.
