Wealdstone Prepare for Wembley Final Against Southend United
Wealdstone face southend united in the FA Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. The club call it their biggest game in 41 years, and the day has been built around fans, food, merchandise and a 2pm kickoff that now defines the season.
Wembley and the Vale
The final will be played at Wembley Stadium, South Way, Wembley, HA9 0WS, with live coverage available on TNT Sports and HBO Max. At the Vale, gates open at 9am, DD’s Catering will serve a special breakfast menu, the clubhouse bar starts serving drinks at 10am and the Vale Bar closes at 1:30pm.
Supporters will also be able to see the players off from the Vale at around 11am. Car parking will be free on a first-come, first-served basis, which gives home fans a clear window to gather before the squad heads to Wembley.
Wealdstone’s Wembley 2026 range
The club have produced t-shirts, flags and bucket hats for the final, using the Wembley 2026 merchandise range at The Vale on both Saturday and Sunday. The newest additions are the Post-Match Photobook and the Post-Match Programme, both available at discounted rates if pre-ordered.
Kelme are offering an FA Trophy Final range with special text embroidered on club products, but those items will not arrive in time for the final and are not available to buy at The Vale. That leaves the Wembley 2026 stock as the main matchday option for fans who want something to take to London.
From Cheshunt to Wembley
Wealdstone reached this point with a 2-1 win over Cheshunt in the FA Trophy Third Round, when Micah Obiero scored a tap-in on the counterattack and Connor McAvoy also scored. They followed that with a 1-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge in the Fourth Round, where Lee Bradbury’s side had only one chance of note.
Those results set up a final that carries more weight than a single cup tie. For supporters, Sunday begins at the Vale, moves to Wembley and ends with either a trophy or a missed chance in a season the club have already placed among their most successful.
