Matthew Biggs will make his final matt biggs gardener appearance when Radio 4 broadcasts Gardeners’ Question Time at 3pm on Friday 15 May 2026. The edition was recorded at The Serge Hill Project while he was receiving palliative care after his illness entered its end stage.
Biggs has been a panellist on the programme since 1994, and he chose to record one last show with longtime friends, colleagues and family around him. The broadcast falls during Mental Health Awareness Week, placing his final visit on air in a week focused on wellbeing.
